We are not Plasticine People
Some bury their heads, others turn away, but some take a stand for what is right and we need more of that.
“Qrious Threads Plasticine Action project” inspired by the Miles Pickering shirt aims to encourage others to help create some much needed positive change.
What’s this Qrious Threads Project all about?
- A creative, non‑violent movement for free speech and peace.
- We use plasticine, poetry, music and art as a symbol: soft power, warm minds, visible fingerprints. Nothing sharp. Nothing that harms, but we can still be edgy!
Independent. Not affiliated with any political or militant organisation. No vandalism. No intimidation. No hate.
We All Have a Voice!
The Qrious Threads Plasticine Action Pledge Which You Should Not Get Arrested For!
- I reject harm, threats, harassment and criminal damage.
- I act within the law. I leave if tensions rise.
- I speak human to human. I de‑escalate.
- I protect civilians. Every side. Every time.
- I take actions to inspire myself and others

Have Your Voice and Leave Your Mark With Legal Protests
- Prepare
- Read your local protest guidance. Know where, when, and noise limits. Plan an exit route.
- Signage: clear, non‑violent language. Avoid symbols or phrases that could be mistaken for support of any proscribed group.
- Bring water, ID if you choose, and a printed rights card. Tell a friend your route.
- On the day
- Stay visible. Keep pavements passable. Follow lawful directions. Film interactions calmly if needed.
- Use the “two‑sentence rule”: say what you want, then how it helps safety or peace. Stop there.
- If tension spikes: lower volume, step back, or leave. Safety over victory.
- Online
- Share your statue with alt text. Lead with the pledge. Avoid pile‑ons. Block, don’t brawl.
De‑escalation scripts
- If someone is angry: “I hear you. I’m here for non‑violence and protecting civilians.” Pause. “Would you like to see the pledge?”
- If misread: “It says Plasticine Action. Art for peace. No vandalism. No affiliation with any group.” Show the QR page.
- If asked to move by officials: “Understood. We’re peaceful and will comply.” Move first. Discuss later.
Get Creative!
- Sculpt a small peace symbol in plasticine or modelling clay. Get inspired and inspire others.
